ZZZs

Those of you who are friends with me on Facebook may have seen me post a similar picture from my phone recently.  I got such a kick out of it, I had to post pictures here, too.  Maddie often requests that someone cuddle with her a bit before she goes to sleep and I'd say that about 50% of the time whatever parent stays with her falls asleep, too.  (I say "too" but that's probably not the best word choice because sometimes we fall asleep but Maddie doesn't!  I guess she's not the only one who could still use an afternoon nap.)

 

PS The funny thing about this picture of tranquility is that about a minute after I took this picture I heard a thud because Maddie fell out of bed! Andy woke up and got her settled again.
PPS Maddie's room is going to be painted soon (at least I think so).  Say goodbye to the test patches and say hello to a "girly-ish" colored room.  (Maddie's word and request, not mine--Mommy, can it be a girly-ish color, not a boyish color?)
