The Rest of My Visit with Kim

I'm going to start by saying you should definitely visit Kim's post for better pictures.  Now here are some of my pictures from the weekend.  (For the first part of the weekend, here's my earlier post.)
Kim is unbelievably patient with kids.  Candyland makes me want to pull my hair out, but Kim kindly played with Madeleine and didn't even snap at her when she changed the rules (that makes me crazy!)

We took a walk and stopped at the park.  The girls insisted on wearing costumes and I relented since there's such a short time of life when you can get away with a tutu at the park.

Swinging!

Avonlea kept finding candy corns she dropped.  It was reminiscent of Hansel and Gretel but with a tastier food trail (and she ate her own trail).

Kim and I spent some time walking along the beach.  It was one part therapy session for me and one part photography session.  Kim is a great listener and always has such Godly and encouraging advice.

That evening we tried Firefly Bistro.  It was great!  Jessie joined us and I wish Beth had been in town to come out, too.  Kim is such a dear friend to me and I can't wait for the next time we get together.  Hopefully Andy and I will get a Virginia trip on the calendar sometime soon.

Oops...forgot to mention that I laughed out loud at the first one of Avvie. Hilarious, that tutu girl!
